Baptized in Christ - Summoned to Service
Saturday, October 28, 2017
8:30 a.m. – Coffee and donuts in Marvin Hall
9:00 a.m. Presentation by Vicky Tufano in Church
Baptism is the foundation of all ministry in the Church. Before you are a liturgical minister or a catechist, before you serve on the finance commission or social concerns, you are a baptized member of the Body of Christ with all its blessings and duties. Though Baptism graces us at a personal level, it also gives us the responsibility to serve one another.
Our presenter, Vicky Tufano, will help us explore how our baptism is the foundation of all we do in service for our parish community. Vicky, who is Senior Editor and Liturgical Consultant at Liturgy Training Publications, has served as a parish director of liturgy and Christian Initiation and as a diocesan director of worship. She is frequent writer and speaker and holds a Master of Arts in liturgical studies and a Master of Divinity, both from Notre Dame.
All who serve in ministry are invited to gather for this morning of renewal, camaraderie and prayer. Mark your calendar. You won’t want to miss this morning.
